SCHOLARSHIPS & AWARDS

While our students often continue to receive prestigious scholarships from PSC, various Ministries, A*STAR and universities after they graduate, many outstanding students also deservingly receive scholarships and awards during their time in the College.

INTEGRATED PROGRAMME
TJC Academic Excellence Award (IP1)
A prestigious College-based award offered to outstanding students:
- Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents with PSLE score of Achievement Level 6 and lower
- Value of award: $1000
JUNIOR COLLEGE
MOE Scholarships
The following scholarships are offered by the Ministry of Education and are available at TJC:
- Humanities Scholarship
- Chinese Language Elective Scholarship
- Music Elective Scholarship
- Engineering and Tech Programme Scholarship (ETPS)
TJC Academic Excellence Scholarship (JC1)
A prestigious College-based award offered to outstanding JC1 students admitted to TJC via JAE or DSA-JC:
- Students with L1R5 = 6 (raw)
- Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents only
- Value of award: $2,400 and a place in the Talent Development Programme
TJC Academic Excellence Scholarship (JC1)
A prestigious College-based award offered to outstanding JC1 students admitted to TJC via JAE or DSA-JC:
- Students with L1R5 = 7 (raw)
- Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents only
- Value of award: $800 and a place in the Talent Development Programme
Arts Book Award (JC1)
The TJC Arts Award, a one-time award valued at $300, is given to incoming JC1 Arts students admitted to TJC via JAE or DSA-JC who have a raw L1R5 of 7 or better, and offer 3 H2 subjects from the Humanities and the Arts. This Award will be given on top of the JC Academic Excellence Scholarship (JC1) or TJC Academic Merit Award (JC1).

TJC Xcel Scholarship
A prestigious College-based award offered to outstanding students:
- Outstanding students in sports and performing arts
- Value of award: $800 and a place in the Talent Development Programme
