ENRICHED CURRICULUM

We believe that every TJC IP student has talents to be developed and nurtured. To this end, we offer every IP student an enriched curriculum with talent development opportunities for all. Integrated subjects such as Language Arts, Fundamental Humanities and Green Science develop interdisciplinary thinkers who are adept at synthesizing ideas, concepts and knowledge. Unique and specially-designed subjects such as Skills & Knowledge develop our students into analytical and innovative problem-solvers, while Aesthetics nurtures an appreciation for the arts as well as the valuable skills of communication, empathy and creativity.

The TJC IP curriculum gives students the space to find their passions and the guidance to hone their talents. It develops all students into forward-thinking, innovative and confident leaders who are curious about the world and passionate about their community.

• TEMASEK ACADEMY

  Students who display strong aptitude for and talent in a particular academic discipline are invited to stretch themselves through the Temasek Academy Programme, which has five strands:

  Designed within the framework of the Renzulli Schoolwide Enrichment Model, students in the Temasek Academy participate in Type II and Type III enrichment programmes which deepen their disciplinary knowledge, allow them to learn from practitioners and experts in the field, and enable them to develop research skills in their chosen field. Our Temasek Academy students are closely mentored and guided by our IP tutors to help them develop their talents to the fullest potential.

• COHORT PROGRAMMES

  Cohort Programmes extend our students' learning beyond the classroom. Designed to give all students the opportunity to experience Type I and II enrichment under the Renzulli Enrichment Triad framework, they provide opportunities for students to apply what they have learned in authentic and dynamic environments. Through our cohort programmes, students learn future-ready skills, develop a deep understanding of the world around them, and grow into confident, forward-thinking leaders who are anchored in a sense of community. Most of all, these hands-on programmes encourage students to experience the joy of learning and discovery in engaging and exciting ways!
